Philadelphia area Family Law Attorney Lee A. Schwartz, Esquire has been serving residents of the Greater Philadelphia Area since 1981. Mr. Schwartz’s practice is dedicated to serving people with divorce, child custody, grandparent and step-parent rights, relocation, high net worth cases including stock options and business issues, child support, alimony, division of property, protection from abuse and the drafting of marital agreements.
Mr. Schwartz, in 2015, served as Chair of the Family Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Prior to 2015, Mr. Schwartz served consecutive one year terms as Treasurer, Secretary and Incoming Chair.
From 2011-2013, Mr. Schwartz was President of the Nicholas Cipriani Family Law American Inn of Court, an organization of Family Law Judges and Lawyers in the Greater Philadelphia Region. Mr. Schwartz continues to serve on the Executive Committee of both the Family Law Section and the Cipriani Inn.
Mr. Schwartz has been trained in Mediation of Family Law Disputes and practices regularly in mediating Equitable Distribution, Support, Custody, Divorce and pre-marital issues.
Mr. Schwartz is also trained in Collaborative Law and serves in that capacity for clients seeking to utilize that method of dispute resolution.
Mr. Schwartz has been honored to ask to serve as a Presenter by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the teaching arm of the Philadelphia Bar Association. In this capacity, Mr. Schwartz teaches his fellow attorneys, for their continuing education requirements, on many topics of Family Law. For a number of years, Mr. Schwartz has taught the yearly update on Pennsylvania Family Law as well as the yearly update of Law, Practice and Procedure in Philadelphia County Courts.
Mr. Schwartz also serves as a Legal Commentator regarding Family Law issues on Fox
29 Television News and the ALM Television Network.
Mr. Schwartz practices in the five county Philadelphia area. His practice is divided evenly between men and women.
Trained by American Family and Conciliation Courts as Parenting Coordinator and Recommended by Judges of the Court of Common Pleas, Philadelphia County, as Parenting Coordinator in high conflict custody cases.
